ACLUG Mailing List Moved

Hi everyone,You might remember a discussion[1] last month about the future of theACLUG mailing lists. At the time, consensus arose to migrate the listto Google. Since then, I've been waiting for Google to approve thisrequest, and today they have. This mailing list is now hosted atGoogle Groups.

HERE'S SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU'LL NEED!

To POST to the list, send your email to: aclug-discussion@googlegroups.com

To find the group on the WEB, go to: http://groups.google.com/group/aclug-discussion/

To SUBSCRIBE, visit the web site or send an email to: aclug-discussion+subscribe@googlegroups.com

To USUBSCRIBE, visit the web site or send an email to: aclug-discussion+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com

You can find recent archives on the Google site, and can also participate there as if this were a web forum; web posts will becopied to email subscribers. The full archives of this and the other (now discontinued) ACLUG lists are still present at Gmane:

http://dir.gmane.org/search.php?match=aclug

Thanks,-- John Goerzen

Welcome to Aclug.org!

Sunday 13 January 2013 kl. 18:55

ACLUG is a free Linux users' group in Wichita, Kansas. There are no membership dues. If you show up fora meeting, consider yourself a member. If you would like to receive an e-mail whenever we have a new eventplanned, we'd encourge you to sign up to receive our announcements.

ACLUG is an informal organization that has been derived from the Wichita State University local chapter of theinternational Association for Computing Machinery , and is currently managed by a committee. Our goals include promoting Linux as a replacement for Windows and NT, supporting those that are considering switching to Linux, and providing a way for people running Linux to share ideas and information with each other. Some possibilities for future events include compilation of the Linux kernel, installing/removing software, connecting to the Internet, etc. Your suggestions are welcome.
